Tools are items that can perform special functions.
Handheld Tools[]
Handheld tools work when held in the active hotbar slot. Most must be activated by pressing "E" (X on a game controller), but a few just need to be in the active hotbar slot.
- Some tools only work on particular objects, or only have a use in specific situations (such as the Raft in water).
- Some tools are only cosmetic, and have no use other than as accessories.
- Alternate versions of some of the tools can be purchased at the Cosmetic Tool Shop. They have the same stats as their gold counterparts.
- Gliders and the Jetpack are considered equipment, and can only be used if they are in one of the side inventory slots instead of the hotbar.
